| dc.description.abstract | El presente trabajo de investigación contemplado como Trabajo de final de Grado para ser presentado en la Universidad de Lleida y elaborado con metodología cualitativa, tiene como finalidad principal analizar las actitudes que presentan los progenitores frente a la homosexualidad de su hijo/a. La investigación se ha llevado a cabo entrevistando en profundidad a 15 familias con hijos/as vinculados al colectivo LGTB que en algún momento manifestaron la orientación sexual de carácter homosexual a sus progenitores, a fin de conocer y analizar su experiencia. Los resultados indican que existe un proceso de adaptación que se divide en tres fases distintas (shock, adaptación, aceptación). Por otro lado, también se han analizado estrategias y mecanismos para hacer frente a la salida del armario de su hijo/a, como, por ejemplo: hablar con familiares, aislar-se, negar la realidad, acceder a asociaciones o entidades… Por otro lado, también se han analizado, emociones parentales que surgen durante el proceso de adaptación, como, por ejemplo: el miedo, la ira, alegría, orgullo… | |
| dc.description.abstract | This research project, considered as a Final Degree Project to be presented at the University of Lleida and of a qualitative nature, aims to analyze the attitudes exhibited by parents towards the homosexuality of their son/daughter. The research was conducted by conducting in-depth interviews with 15 families who have children connected to the LGTB community, and who have at some point disclosed their homosexual orientation to their parents, in order to understand and analyze their experiences. The results indicate that there is an adaptation process that can be divided into three distinct phases (shock, adaptation, acceptance). Additionally, strategies and mechanisms for dealing with their child's coming out have also been analyzed, such as talking to relatives, isolating oneself, denying reality, accessing associations or organizations, among others. Furthermore, parental emotions that arise during the adaptation process have also been examined, including fear, anger, joy, and pride, for example. | |
